Appointment as Director
On September 17, 2022, President Joe Biden officially appointed Cheatle as the Director of the U.S. Secret Service. She is the first woman to hold this position in the agency's history.
Responsibilities
As Director, Cheatle is responsible for the overall management and operations of the Secret Service. Her duties include:
