London-Middlesex Severe Thunderstorm Watch Lifted
Environment Canada lifted the severe thunderstorm watch for London and the surrounding area shortly after the watch in Gatineau, Que., ended.

All watches and warnings have been lifted for London-Middlesex and the surrounding area. Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region on Tuesday afternoon, but it was lifted shortly after 7 p.m.
The threat for severe thunderstorms spanned much of southern Ontario and Quebec on Tuesday, and a number of warnings were issued. However, London-Middlesex was spared from any severe weather.
A thunderstorm did roll through the London area on Tuesday evening, but it brought only light rain and wind. There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
Local residents took to social media to express their relief that the severe weather missed London.
